Review:

"But for the briefest of moments, they flew."

At approximately 93 pages, there is a lot to unwrap in this little gift. An unlikely bond between Eddie and Squirt (a combination of something akin to a larva developing into a somewhat alien-human being with personality. A hungry little squiggler with an unusual, grotesque appetite but also an endearing demeanor.)

The tenderness and dedication that Eddie gives to his new little nugget was just so sweet, he does whatever he feels is necessary to care for Squirt, but unfortunately he goes too far and in the end he must make a tough decision.

There are moments that will make you want to squirm, laugh out loud, and tug at your heart.

Quirky and hilarious with a lot of heart and soul!
